Bjelin has significantly expanded its US team from ten to 25 members over the past year in response to increased demand for the company’s innovative flooring products. This growth has brought several seasoned professionals into the successful team, offering a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives.
“The flooring market in the US has experienced substantial growth, driven by rising demand for renovation and construction projects in both residential and commercial sectors,” says Zach Adams, Bjelin’s General Manager for the US. “We are excited about the future and warmly welcome our new team members to Bjelin.”
The expanded team features industry veterans like Jean Sagmeister, with 20 years of flooring industry experience, and Duke Mabry, who brings 34 years of expertise in floor coverings. “The growth opportunities are immense,” says Duke, “with the continual introduction of state-of-the-art products, distribution growth, and coverage expansion, coupled with an excellent sales organization.”
Bjelin’s flagship product range, the commercial hardened wood flooring – Woodura Planks 3.0 – utilizes the patented Woodura technology, making these floors three times stronger than engineered wood floors, and significantly more dent- and water-resistant.
“It’s evident that Bjelin is a forward-thinking company pushing the boundaries,” notes Jennifer Hanson, who has over 15 years of experience in the flooring and textile industry. Julie Robbins, an Interior Designer with 30 years in the A&D industry, adds: “I chose Bjelin because of its exceptional reputation for innovation, commitment to quality, and its forward-thinking approach.” Kevin Kelly, with 28 years in the industry, concurs: “In my career, I’ve never seen such a meticulously developed product, from its inception and patents to its market reality.”
The new team members not only bring extensive experience but also a vibrant energy. They enjoy activities such as fishing, skiing, exercise, sailing, and snow skiing. Bjelin looks forward to sharing more updates from the US as the company continues to expand its business.
