Bjelin has significantly expanded its US team from ten to 25 members over the past year in response to increased demand for the company’s innovative flooring products.

Bjelin’s exceptionally durable hardened wood flooring has won the ‘Best of NeoCon 2024 Award’. This prestigious award recognises ground-breaking ideas and innovative, sustainable design.

Bjelin has launched a carefully curated Contrast Collection that celebrates the distinct characteristics of the renowned Spačva oak. The new, vibrant hardened wood range was created through the fusion of technology and ageless craftsmanship and suits both residential and heavy-traffic commercial environments.

Bjelin will show its latest flooring at NeoCon, a launchpad for innovative design in the US. The leading event within commercial interior design takes place in Chicago from the 10th–12th of June 2024.

Bjelin’s rigid core range has taken the US by storm after being debuted in collaboration with Revolution Mills, designating the flooring manufacturer as a national distribution partner for this line.

Bjelin's Scandinavian-designed hardened wood 3.0 range has won an FCNnovation Award from industry authority Floor Covering News. The award recognises and showcases ground-breaking and industry-changing ideas and acknowledges those innovations that are ‘a cut above the rest’.

Bjelin Hardened Wood won an Award for the Commercial range 33 at The International Surface Event (TISE) 2023. Featuring the innovative technologies 5G® Dry™ and Woodura® from Bjelin's sister company Välinge Innovation, the sustainable Hardened Wood Commercial series was awarded Best Overall Product.

Pervanovo Invest AB, the parent company of Bjelin industries in Croatia and Välinge Group in Sweden, has through its subsidiary Välinge Croatia signed an agreement to acquire 85% of the shares in the Croatian furniture company Spin Valis. The intention is to acquire 100% of the shares. The acquisition means that large-scale production and marketing of furniture with Välinge’s click technology can be achieved faster than originally planned and the availability of oak material will increase. The acquisition requires approval from the antitrust authorities. Spin Valis will be renamed Bjelin Spinvalis.

Bjelins vision is to become the world's largest and most sustainable wooden flooring company. The flooring production is partly powered by solar panels placed on the roofs of the facilities. The company from the south of Sweden, now ready for the next step, is investing heavily in solar power in its transition towards energy self-sufficiency.

Bjelin will counter the general scarcity of building materials that affects the construction and flooring industry by increasing the investments in its production capabilities. Russia’s war on Ukraine will undoubtedly create negative consequences for the industry by creating delays of construction projects.

Bjelin condemns the unprovoked Russian aggressions, a mockery of international law and a direct attack on democratic values.
